Spring Gathering
May 11–14, 2026, Cae Mabon, North Wales
Join us among the oaks, bluebells and roundhouses at the magical Cae Mabon retreat centre for 3 days of nature-connection, community-building, and exploration of one-planet possibilities.
This gathering is for anyone interested in working towards a future in which low-impact land-based community living is a more widely accepted and actively supported way of life here in the UK.

Let's build a movement together
Our Spring Gathering is designed to nurture relationships, deepen shared knowledge, and start to build an organised movement towards land-based community living here in the UK.
This is an opportunity to come together in a truly inspiring setting to develop a collective vision for how to bring land-based community living forward as a viable pathway in the years ahead.
If you're someone who cares deeply about land, community, and one-planet futures, come along and get involved in developing a roadmap towards land-based community creation.
What to expect
We've designed a balanced program of sessions to nourish our indigenous souls and support the work of collective visioning and planning. Here are some of the highlights, with the full schedule outlined below.
Magical venue
Cae Mabon offers an enchanting retreat among ancient oaks and handcrafted roundhouses—the perfect setting for deep connection with the land, each other, and one-planet possibilities.
Nature-connection
Immerse yourself in some truly beautiful nature, reconnecting with the wild songs of the land, resetting your nervous system, and recharging your batteries for the journey ahead.
Fireside storytelling
Gather around the fire in Cae Mabon's atmospheric thatched roundhouse for deep-time stories rooted in the mossy myths and animate intelligence of Taliesin's ancient isle.
Way of council
Council practice offers an experience of true community. In circle we recognise that each voice needs to be heard, that every person has gifts, a story to share, and is a valuable part of the whole.
Expert-led discussions
Learn from low-impact pioneers and one-planet practitioners as we explore how to open up new pathways home into land-based community living here in the UK.
Community-building
The gathering is designed to foster nature-based community-building, both within the structured sessions as well as outside these in the spaces between and around.

Your invitation
This gathering is designed as a journey: we start by connecting to the land and each other, and then move into a collaboration space— engaging directly with the evolving work of the Land-Based Living Collective, exploring questions, possibilities, and practical next steps together.
Our hope is that you leave feeling refreshed and well nourished, with meaningful new relationships, a stronger sense of connection to the project, and greater clarity about how you might take part in its unfolding.Â
If that feels like a worthwhile few days to step into, you’re warmly invited to join us.
