Come Learn About Our Vision For A Land-Based Community In the Totnes Area

Are you longing to live on the land in community here in South Hams? Ready to step into a way of life deeply aligned with one-planet values? Seeking an affordable, low-impact alternative to the consumer nightmare?

So are we!

We’re at the early stages of bringing a bold vision to life:
A land-based community near Totnes — with beautiful low-impact homes, spacious community structures, agroecological food growing, forest gardens, a swimming pond, rewilded land, and a trauma-informed way of life rooted in care for each other and for the living earth.

And we’re working on ways to create this a way that is genuinely affordable – accessible even for people with no savings or assets. Because we believe that our world desperately needs thriving models of truly sustainable nature-embedded living, and anyone willing to help create and inhabit these spaces should be supported and celebrated.

If you feel inspired by this vision, we warmly invite you to come along to one of our weekly drop-in sessions and find out more.

Every Monday from 10-12am we’ll be holding an open meeting at the Totnes Climate Hub for anyone to drop in and meet us, learn about what we’re up to, and explore getting involved.

What to expect:

An informal, friendly space to meet the people behind the vision
✪ A chance to hear the story so far, see plans, and ask questions
✪ Find out how to get involved — whether that’s joining the founding group, offering skills or support, or connecting us to useful networks
✪ Meet others who are excited about creating radically connected ways of living

When: Every Monday at 10-12am
Where: Totnes Climate Hub, The Mansion, Fore Street
Cost: Free — just bring your longing for a more beautiful world!

No booking required — drop in any time during the session.

*** Please note: these sessions are a space for exploring a positive vision of living more lightly and lovingly together on the land and taking practical steps towards that vision. They’re not a forum for airing combative worldviews, exposing secret plots, or debating global politics and religious beliefs — our focus is on what we can build together, here and now, in a spirit of care and collaboration.

We can’t wait to meet you and share this vision. Together, we can build something truly beautiful here in the rolling hills of South Devon.
